Morse Mill Investigation Recap

For reference, the equipment we used during the investigation was as follows:
8 IR (zero lux) stationary cameras hooked to a 9 Channel Multiplexer and DVD Burner.
4 of these had highly sensitive microphones hooked to 2 laptops for constant dedicated audio.
1 Sony Hi8 with night shot camera
2 Sony Mini DV cameras with night shot and external illuminators.
1 Panasonic Prosumer Mini DV camera with night shot, external illuminator, and highly sensitive external uni-directional microphone.
An array of EMF detectors including digital, K-2 and Tri-field
4 IR non contact thermometers
5 Highly sensitive Digital Voice Recorders

During the beginning of our investigation Brenda, Krissy, Emily, and Nicole were investigating the basement when they heard the sound of footsteps from above them and on the basement stairs. During an EVP session it sounded as if someone was walking up the stairs.
The second crew of David, Mike, Raul, and Nicole (Videographer) started on the second level later in the night. On a few occasions Audible voices could be heard responding to questions in the hallway near the main stairs. The answer of “yes” was given to a question followed by a moving cold spot that could not be traced to a location.
Later with the same group an EMF meter known as a K2 meter was being used. This measures EMF in lights. When certain questions were asked the K2 would light up and an audible “no” was heard by the investigators, as well as the sounds of footsteps.
On the main floor our camera person Nicole suddenly had a stabbing pain in her stomach right after the sound of footsteps was heard behind her. She then became violently ill and had to leave the building. Once outside the pain and nausea stopped immediately.
A few moments later the crew of Mike, Greg, Dave, and Raul entered Room 4. After a few moments Greg began to feel intense chills running all up and down his body. This was not a cold spot, but chills. Once he stepped out of room 4 the chills stopped instantly. You could see Goosebumps all over Greg’s arms. It was not a cool night. The temperate never dropped below 75 degrees outside and not below 80 inside. All doors and windows were shut.
At the end of the investigation (hour before we left) Mike and Dave were in Room 4. During this time, Mike placed a one dollar bill and the K2 meter on his lap and lay down on the mattress. During this EVP session Mike was attempting to contact any spirits from the time the Hotel was a brothel. This was also the room where the prostitute was supposedly strangled. During the session Mike began to feel pressure running up his pant legs towards his lap as if someone had a hand on his thigh. At each moment he felt the pressure the K2 meter would flash indicating a higher EMF field. The house itself has no electricity, eliminating the possibility of random EMF fluctuations.
During review of evidence after the fact we did find several EVP’s. Some of the voices captured validated the personal experiences of the investigators as the audible voices were also heard on the recorders. Near the end of the night a child’s voice was heard on the recorder calling for “mommy” it is an extremely clear EVP. The voice was not heard by the investigators in the room.
No video footage was captured except for a strange light anomaly seen on a stationary camera on the second floor hallway when you turn left off of the stairs. This strange light is seen forming in the doorway then seems to come into the hallway before disappearing into a room. 40 seconds later the same anomaly is seen forming in the hallway then moving into the same room again. It did not happen again and all possible natural explanations have been accounted for. There were no cars, investigators, or flashlights in the area at the time.
There was no other evidence on camera, audio, or pictures to disclose.
